First tier automotive supplier of mainly plastic components with an excellent order and currently developing an additional manufacturing facility. Processes include plastic injection moulding, paint and assembly. They have an excellent reputation for quality, innovation and delivery.
To take responsibility for all the large plastic injection moulding tools, refurbishing, repairing and modifying. To liaise with engineering, production, toolmakers and suppliers. The position will involve some European travel. Candidates should be hands on with a background in the plastic injection sector with knowledge of modern techniques including hot runners. The position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
Take responsibility for the plastic moulding tools including modifications, maintenance and development. Liaison with manufacturers and the business headquarters in France.
