Quality Manager

Our client is a presitigious automotive manufacturer who are recruiting a Quality Manager on a one year fixed term contract to manage, drive and negotiate business solutions, developing and agreeing quality plans with all areas and levels of the business.
You will have responsibility for leading the Quality Engineering function to ensure the quality deliverables and objectives are achieved within the manufacturing area.
The Quality Manager will have ownership of all product and process concerns that are a risk to the product and the business.
Assessing the viability of the individual solutions and impact.
Managing, steering and escalation of customer concerns.
Compliance with legal requirements.
Identify weakness in any plans or processes develop countermeasures.
The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge and clear technical understanding of vehicle assembly within a TS16949 environment.
You will be a strong, confident team leader, able to motivate through coaching and career experience.
Must be capable of working independently.
Good personal interaction skills.
Excellent IT Skills (Microsoft office) and some specific IT systems.
Minimum of a Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification plus 3 years automotive experience.
Candidates who possess German language will be at an advantage.
