Our client is a Global provider of filtration systems and components, serving customers across a wide range of sectors, including: power generation, specialty filtration, compressed air purification, off-road equipment, and various vehicle solutions.

Expanding the team, they are now looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer and as such we welcome applications from engineers who meet and surpass the requirements below: Working closely with the plant management team, the role focuses upon the delivery of continuous improvement projects, aiming to reduce costs relating to reject parts and in-process waste, while also increasing productivity and efficiency using Lean Manufacturing principles.

Will lead a multi-disciplined team, following a structured approach to project completion and a successful outcome.
You will be required to drive an agenda based on sound project management and change management skills

You will work with people at all levels of the company, from factory management, to the operators that run the production lines, as well as our technical support staff.
We will expect you to have the credibility and gravitas to influence and engage, as you will need to quickly build a rapport with people.Being able to adjust your communication style to find the best ways of engagement is imperative.

• Essential that you come from a manufacturing background with extensive knowledge of lean techniques.
• Six Sigma minimum requirement is green belt
• You will need to be a highly motivated self-starter, as you will have the responsibility and accountability for driving projects through to completion and delivering results.
• A proven deliverer with experience of seeking and identifying cost opportunities; improve efficiencies and sustainability within a group.
• Degree qualified or equivalent.
• Sound financial acumen and commercial awareness.
