This client is researching and developing a revolutionary new patented product for the automotive industry. Having grown rapidly since its formation, they have invested $20 Million in their premises in the UK giving them both a new open plan office space equipment with the latest computer technology and a workshop area containing sophisticated test equipment to facilitate product development.

This role is based in Lancashire, close to the M6, M65, M61and is commutable from Chorley, Wigan, Preston, Blackburn and Southport.
You will be responsible for:
Planning, accounting and finance, communication, internal project reporting and administration and resource management
Support to the leadership team, both individually and collectively, in terms of summary reports to assist in focusing and prioritizing decision making
Control role in terms of finance and human and material resource management (not in terms of engineering lead management and ultimate project delivery responsibility)
Revenue and contractual assurance responsibilities in terms of key contracts and licence agreements
The role will report across the business and will have a cross-functional reporting requirement into Finance and Commercial as well as members of the Engineering Leadership Team
Direct reporting will be to the Finance and Commercial Director
Automotive background
Degree in Business Finance or Engineering with good proven experience of working in an engineering environment
Working knowledge of MS Project software required
Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Contract negotiation experience
Experience of ERP based project system
Proven experience of the ability to conduct project reviews and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
