A market leader in the design, integration and supply of rapid deployment mobility systems and sub-systems, benefiting from extensive inter-group facilities, resources and technical skills, resulting in a broad range of capabilities.
They are currently seeking to appoint an Electrical Systems Engineering Manager, responsible for the technical authority for all electrical design within the company.
They would like to hear from proven managers from the building or industrial sectors as well as people with military vehicles experience
You`ll be responsible for the design and verification of electrical systems to ensure the safety, integrity and compliance to the 17th Ed Regs (BS7671). You must have this version of the IEE regs to be considered. Further knowledge must be demonstrated in EMC/EMP and TEMPEST calculations, with an understanding of power distribution.
This role will incorporate managing a small team of designers and overseeing the design phase, acting as point of contact for customers and offering advice to clients. You must have relevant academia and a degree in Electrical Engineering is essential; CEng status would be advantageous although not essential.
A very hands on and interesting role that will introduce you to a variety of complex schemes whilst leading an established team.
This role reports to the Chief Engineer which would be the next step up in your career with the firm.
This is a permanent role with an immediate start; on offer is a very high market salary with car or car allowance and other benefits.
