- Degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline, ideally with a higher degree
- Chartered Engineer preferable, including membership of appropriate engineering institute
- Broad and relevant engineering experience
- Ability to manage through systems and a strong advocate of process compliance
- Excellent communication skills
- Well organised, robust, self motivated team player
- Experience of balancing varying, conflicting and dynamic business priorities to ensure continued business success

They are looking for a Project Controller, to enhance its engineering capabilities. The candidate will be involved in the management and control of projects for the next generation of worldwide solutions for military land vehicle markets (Warrior).

The candidate will be expected to contribute to the success of development projects and the growth of our Clients Land Business Unit working by providing key support to the cross-functional programme teams:
- Ensuring that the business unit operates in an efficient, agile and flexible manner to support our customers and meet our commitments.
- Updating all project plans (including all sub-ordinate plans) and performance metrics including the business master schedule.
- Preparing status reports for inclusion in internal business reviews and customer status updates.
- Supporting Bid/Proposal preparation.
- Updating and maintaining project schedules, assumptions, risks, issues and opportunity registers. 
- Ensuring work package reporting requirements are in line with the project & programme management requirements.

Ideally you will have project experience in a technical environment, including planning & Documentation Management exposure.
In addition, experience in Risk & Opportunity Management and Change & Configuration Management is desirable.
Further experience in revenue and cost reporting including performance metrics, plus ricing & invoicing collation and updating for Engineering Resource Planning (ERP) systems would be needed.

Skills/qualifications/competencies:
- Qualified to degree level; ideally in a technical discipline
- Highly motivated and keen to succeed  with an ability to work to tight deadlines when required
- Takes ownership and is proactive in problem solving and issue resolution
- Highly organised and prides themselves on attention to detail
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Project & ERP systems
- Working knowledge of implementing and maintaining EVM systems and performance metrics would be an advantage.

One of the world's leading Automotive manufacturers, established for more than 60 years, is seeking to expand its team of 250 engineers and specialists over the next 2-3 years at its attractive Warwick University based European Technical Centre.

They are currently seeking to recruit a Principal Engineer for Cockpit IP Trim on their small car programme.

The role is based primarily at the Technical Centre in Warwick University, although some travel overseas may be required to support project demand (no more than 1 week in 4).

Reporting to the Chief Engineer for Interior Trim, the individual will be responsible for the following:

- Leading the development of instrument panel, and centre console system on "proof of concept" vehicle.
- Developing design concept sheets to enable cost planning and concept development of cockpit, parts and systems to progress.
- Working with nominated cockpit prototype parts suppliers to ensure all parts are production representative and meet agreed attribute targets.
- Supporting cross functional reviews with styling, engineering and suppliers to ensure all cockpit targets are met/issues are solved.
- Ensuring all cockpit parts are released in line with agreed ETRS to meet part manufacture and build schedule.
- Following cockpit part/system manufacture, lead the build of the cockpit onto the proof of concept vehicle.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

- Degree qualified or similar qualification
- Minimum of 5 years automotive experience is essential.
- Strong numeracy and literacy
- Capable of leading a project element with support from more senior staff when necessary
- Effective team member contributing to improvements and high customer service
- Demonstrates depth of knowledge in a relevant technical specialty

We are looking for competent Manufacturing Engineers who have a CNC programming background either Milling, Turning or Grinding. You will be working on contract for a global aerospace provider out of their manufacturing facility.
The firm are specialists in the production of gas turbine engine parts including fans, blades and disks supplying finished products into major aerospace names.


A very clean and friendly facility with an established hard-working group of machinists, CMM inspectors, quality and administration staff.
The role will be programming CNC"s and you must have a background in Unigraphics (6 or above) or Vericut 7.1. Exposure to wider lean methods is an advantage (5S) as is a background in continual improvement within an aerospace environment.
It"s an immediate start on a very high rate for approx. 6 months.
