Power Supply Charging Systems Engineer.

Skills Required:
Lead engineering specifications and sign off methods for the energy management and smart regen charging system. Liaise and interface with core Power Supply for commonality/consistency. Support SDS requirements for SRC and start-stop systems. Coordinate subsystem DVP including yellow board, HIL and vehicle level testing. Lead in quality development for the energy management and SRC systems (FMEA/RCL/RDM). Support programme application engineers for system and component requirements. Support all programme gateways with robust and timely inputs. Support manufacturing plants (incl. pre-production build phases). Support Customer service Division. Lead diagnostic and EOL compatibility. Calibrate Power Supply functions (as on CGEA1.3). Benchmark energy management systems and concepts. Development and implementation of the FPDS/GPDS validation plan leading to a quality engineering sign-off. Investigate and resolve any quality issues on the vehicles. Support any cost reduction initiatives. Use eFDVS to sign off the system.

Skills Preferred:
Project management skills with a thorough attention to detail. Ability to demonstrate use of initiative, perseverance and liaison skills.

Experience Required:
Knowledge and experience of systems/software integration. Understanding of the Power Supply System/Charging Systems. Must be able to use Vector CAN tools including CANalyser and CANoe. Knowledge and experience of CAN and LIN protocols. Experience in design and development tools, eFDVS.

Experience Preferred:
GPDS knowledge is preferred.

Education Required:
Educated to degree level, in a relevant field or subject.
