Civil Project Engineer
Gaydon, Warwickshire, England
£19.60 - 19.60 per hour
Civil Engineering/Construction Project Engineer. Work within the Facilities Team to manage a group of multi skilled Engineers. Provide a service and support other Engineering specialists in construction and modification of Product Development workshops and Facilities. Undertake desktop studies and site investigations for prospective projects, utilising in house or external specialists where appropriate to enable the evaluation of alternative economic solutions and support project justification. Manage contractors in strict accordance with OEM control of contractors procedures. Attend programme meetings at all levels, representing the Facilities & Site Services Project Team and present where appropriate.
Skills Required:
Management and delivery of Civil Engineering/Construction Projects. Will be required to write Tender Specifications, select suppliers and then oversee the project through to full installation, commissioning and final acceptance.
Skills Preferred:
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project.
Experience Required:
Working knowledge of buildings and services within; NEBOSH/IOSH, CDM.
Experience Preferred:
Good proficiency using Microsoft packages, including MS Project.
Education Required:
Good standard of education. Preferably to degree level, in a relevant field or subject.
Additional Information:
Will be required to work at both Gaydon and Whitley.
