Embedded Software Development Engineer – Automotive - Qatar - £Excellent
A degree qualified Embedded Software & Algorithm Development Engineer is required for one of the Worlds iconic motorsport companies based in their technology centre in Qatar.
Must have experience in the following:
- Industry RT electronics and embedded systems, for instance, industrial drives and power electronics
- Embedded software, programming and debugging in embedded C and ASSM
- Microcontrollers, DSP's and DSC's, for instance, Texas Instruments TMS2000 family
- Communication protocols, for instance, CAN, RS485
- GUI, HMI
- Embedded IDE, for instance, Code Composer Studio
- BIOS, RTOS
- FPGA, ASIC, CPLD
- Firmware
- Full software life cycle, including requirements capture, embedded software design, coding and testing through to release to production
- Experience with s/w version control tools, requirements management, s/w change request (SCR) management, safety standards and software integrity levels (SIL)
The successful applicant will demonstrate a depth of knowledge in a relevant technical speciality and strive to achieve continuous improvement in personal and technical performance.
Already chartered or working towards chartered status with a proven track record in the effective delivery of technical objectives to quality and time targets.
