Manufacturing Engineer - Lean Manufacturing - Protective Equipment - Surrey - £Neg
Following a recent lean manufacturing transformation this leading manufacturer of Personal and Respiratory Protective Equipment now require a Lean Manufacturing Engineer to assist the Head of Operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement the lean transformation process.
-Manage and facilitate continuous improvement activities.
-Help develop the performance measurement system.
-Support the Operations Manager in all aspects of the operation functions.
Qualifications and Experience:
-Ideally an Automotive background and preferably degree qualified.
-Hands on experience leading at least two lean transformations in a batch production plant or department, including:
-Determining the future work flow using value stream mapping or process mapping.
-Developing and implementing work cells.
-Managing Kaizen events.
Personal attributes:
-Analytical with good attention to detail
-Systematic (process driven)
-Strong communication skills.
