Brakes Development Engineer required to join one of the Worlds most iconic brands initially on a six month contract.
Williams Advanced Engineering will provide Jaguar with direct technology transfer of their engineering expertise for the new Jaguar C-X75 hybrid supercar, they are seeking a Brakes Development Engineer to support this project and those that follow.
The successful applicant will have experience of:
Proven capability of successfully developing high performance vehicle braking systems in terms of performance and refinement.
High level of driving ability and subjective assessment skills.
Formal driver training qualifications from Industry recognised organisation / OEM.
Familiarity with chassis system test instrumentation, data-logging and data-processing
Ability to adapt and overcome setbacks in development environment
Ability to self-motivate to achieve the best possible result with minimum supervision
CAE brake development (performance and thermal modelling)
Brake performance / refinement rig test / optimisation
Carbon ceramic brake development
Regenerative brake integration / development
Slip control system development
Must have a flexible attitude to working hours when required to meet project deliverables.
