Pivotal role exists for a confident contract Buyer with a proven track record of negotiating with European suppliers at senior management level on large contract procurement negotiations. You will possess excellent analytical and data management skills and be an advanced user of Microsoft Office software and be able to provide evidence of significant cost reduction delivery within a global manufacturing environment.
Based from the prestigious UK offices of a leading Automotive brand, you will offer excellent communication and persuasion skills and feel confident at influencing executive board members. Working within a newly established team, this role of Buyer is seen as busiiness critical to ensure that close liaison with key stakeholders ensures supplier reduction and costs minimisation where possible.
Likely 2 year contract period.
