We are looking for a person to work for this well established and respected Tier 1 automotive supplier, this role will be working in a small Quality team of 3 reporting to the Quality Manager. It is shift based (days, lates and nights) so you must be happy with shift work.

Principally, the role will be the auditing of in house processes in line with TS16949 and ISO9001 standards, it is essential that you have experience of this in a similar position within an automotive firm. You will need to have a strong personality as the role can often be challenging when non-conforming processes need to be changed on your recommendation. It is not an out and out Quality Engineer role but would give you the platform to work towards this level with the firm. Any other auditing experience (SQA or 14001 for example) would be well received.

A willingness to adapt to change, self-motivation and teamwork are all personality traits you will need to have to be successful in this role, further experience of quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, CMM or control plans are welcomed but not essential. The firm are very willing to train people in areas to enhance their own development.
