Senior Aerodynamicist

You will take a lead role in vehicle aerodynamics working alongside and supporting the Fluids Department manager and developing the company`s aero capabilities, service offering and levels of business. Model preparation, meshing, CFD analysis and post processing of results using commercially-available and open-source tools. You will work to strict timescale and budget constraints including close interaction with customer engineers and managers. You will provide engineering direction and consultancy during wind tunnel tests, including design recommendations, and also to provide aero input to wider vehicle engineering programmes. You will be involved with data analysis and preparing technical reports.
Based in Warwickshire and boasting an enviable reputation as a leading independent provider of product engineering, research, testing information and certification to the worldwide automotive industry the role is based close to the M69 - commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Hinckley, and Leicester.
You will be Degree qualified (minimum 2:1) with a number of years experience in automotive aerodynamics, including organising and running aerodynamic wind tunnel tests.
5 years direct experience of CFD codes for external and underbonnet aerodynamic modelling and simulation. Proficient in CFD model creation for complex geometries.
