Senior Engineer - Customer Support

Our client can supply electrical equipment and systems from the smallest turbine powered aircraft and helicopters to the Airbus A380. They are proven innovators and provide generators and distribution products and systems that perform at the highest levels.
This role is to initiate Post Qualification Design, Development and Maintainability engineering functions required for in-service equipment. To communicate and negotiate engineering programmes with the customer.
The role includes:
- analysis of in-service and test data to identify source of equipment problems
- initiation of post design projects
- change evaluation in order to validate design schemes for modification of equipment
- complication of technical documentation
- provide design and development engineering support to defect investigations
- undertake the total support of customers, by answering technical queries relating to operation, modification, repair and testing of company products
- undertake customer visits as required in support of reliability and maintainability objectives
- provide assistance to OE and MRO
- produce costed technical proposals
- travel within global sites is expected
Knowledge of working with the MOD and EASA required.
