Safety Development Technician-Automotive Testing-Mechanical or Electrical Fitting Background

We are working with a leading automotive firm in Warwickshire who are looking for several Safety Development Technicians, it will be working as part of a dedicated test team setting up Crash/Impact tests within Safety Development Department. In essence, the role will be mechanically assigning the sensors prior to the crash test, collating the data after the test and then re-aligning the sensors under different coordinates to perform another test.
Your background will from mechanical or electrical vehicle fitting in an automotive environment with experience of data acquisition advantageous, a testing background would be of interest also. This role reports to the Test Supervisor and is part of a self-contained friendly team. We are looking for candidates with mechanical or electrical qualifications (C and G, NVQ) or time served, a fork lift truck licence would be helpful too.
This contract role is an immediate start and paying very good rates, the hours are flexible but it may include working some of the week end so you must be happy with this.
