Are you a quality assurance engineer with experience of working with suppliers looking for a challenge?
A quality assurance engineer who has knowledge of 8D, Control Plans, APQP, PPAP, FMEA's and other Quality tools along with an awareness of ISO 9001:2008 is required to work with a market leader in prototype, motorsport and low volume series castings.
You will be expected to manage quality improvement initiatives with the supply base including conducting audits for product, process and system capabilities to ensure that they consistently provide quality and service in the most efficient way. In addition to familiarity with continuous improvement and lean initiatives, you must be skilled with;
- Quality tools such as 8D, Control Plans, APQP, PPAP, FMEAs
- ISO 9001:2008
- Working with suppliers
- New product introductions
