Quality Systems Engineer – Automotive – West Midlands - £28-32k DOE
A Quality Systems Engineer with experience in managing, driving and continuously improving automotive plant quality systems is required to join a growing worldwide company within my client’s quality systems engineering team. My client, who is based in the West Midlands, is part of a worldwide organisation that specialise in automotive under bonnet systems, powertrain and new technologies for various large car manufacturers.
Duties that form part of the role:
- Lead Systems Auditor – experience of TS16949, corporate and internal systems Audits.
- Manage the deployment of all new procedures (TS16949, Corporate and Customer) in-line with requirements.
- Manage the plant Quality Systems deliverables and activities ensuring compliance with TS16949, Corporate and customer
requirements. - Using quality core tools (SPC, APQP, MSA, FMEA and PPAP)
- Manage and facilitate regular QM and BOS reviews to ensure robust controlling of plant processes.
You must have experience with:
- Ideally 2 years Quality Systems Engineering experience within the Automotive Industry
- Experience of working with multiple customers
- Experience of facilitating and managing TS16949 and Customer Audits
- Proficient in problem solving using quality core tools, SPC, APQP, MSA, FMEA, PPAP and other quality system requirements
- Extensive knowledge of visual basics (VBA)
The salary range for this role is £28-32,000pa depending on experience plus additional benefits such as life assurance, pension scheme and child care voucher scheme. Interviews are going to be held the week beginning 15th October with a view to starting this side of Christmas.
