Part of a global organisation, this well established manufacturer of luxury vehicles is currently enjoying success within the market place. They have invested over £200m in new equipment and are at the forefront of modern manufacturing practices.
We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer on a 12-month contract, based in Coventry.
As Manufacturing Engineer, you require extensive knowledge of machine tooling gained in a modern manufacturing facility along with:
* Ability to research, select and setup the tooling strategy for a new manufacturing plant.
* Through understanding of plant and facility equipment used in an engine manufacturing facility.
* Good interpersonal and negotiating skills.
* Ability to lead, and to work as part of a team.
* Knowledge and involvement in the product development phase.
* Familiar with GPDS programme management disciplines and conversant with supporting business systems.
Preferred Skills:
Microsoft office tools including projects etc. DFMEA and PFMEA
Some knowledge of process planning and simulation tools, process layout tools and CAD tools.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate delivery of several major engine related manufacturing projects.
Please note, this role is based in Coventry although extensive European Travel will be a requirement along with occasional trips to India.
