Our client is the main stamping site for this multi-site manufacturer of automotive body panels for many of the world`s leading vehicle producers. The purpose of the Group Supply Chain Analyst is to manage projects, carry out assignments and perform various duties as required by the Group MPandL Manager. It is an integral part of the Supply Chain Steering Group and it is important that you have the ability to work under your own initiative and think strategically.

This position will have interaction with all levels of personnel, both internal and external to the company and responsibilities will include special projects within the Supply Chain area as well as being responsible and accountable for MFG Pro development, synchronisation and reporting, managing the requirements of the Supply Chain Steering Group, developing common work instructions, policies and procedures and KPI`s. In addition, you will support the local supply chain teams as required, support the development of the supplier/customer visibility package and provide the supply chain input into the QAF and NPI processes.

You must have a sound business understanding, good organisation skills, a good mathematical aptitude, articulation with good verbal and written communication skills, strong practical knowledge of MRP systems (MFG Pro desirable) and also knowledge of MRP/ERP/SCM/JIT/Kanban philosophies, practices and techniques. You must also be able to operate a personal computer using software such as Microsoft Office and will need good interpersonal skills as much of the output of this position will be derived from the person`s input from both inside and outside the organisation. Because of the nature of this position, you must be a "complete finisher", versatile and a self starter, able to work without close supervision.
