Our Client designs, develops, and manufactures powertrain components for use within the motorsport industry. They are currently seeking to recruit a Mechanical Contractor initially up to the end of Q1 2012
CATIA V5 Design Engineer required (or would consider a permanent candidate), working on F1 Engine Design you will already have several years experience designing mechanical solutions whether aero, auto or race. The key here is designing solutions

Cell Chassis
Pack enclosure
Cooling System
High Voltage Interconnects
Electrical Components Mounting
Explosion and Breathable Vents
Anti Vibration mounting
All elements require Specification, Design, Development and Validation
Role Requirements:
* Automotive Mechanical Design and Development experience
* Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
* Pragmatic, Excellent Communication, Innovative
Desirable Attributes:
* FEA
* Catia V5
* HV Creepage and Clearances
* Flexible Interconnects
* Battery Packaging
* Wide range of engineering knowledge
