Quality Inspector - CMM

£25k - 35k per year + Benefits
Our client is a leading technical supplier to the automotive industry, and due to exceptional growth plans and current business requirements, they are looking to appoint a Quality Inspector / CMM as such we welcome applicant who meet the criteria below:
- Dimensional inspection of sensitive and safety critical components to Prodrive drawings and specifications
- Visual and dimensional inspection of non-sensitive components to Prodrive drawings and specifications
- Responsible for the programming and operation of the co-ordinate measuring machine
- Liaison with engineering, internal manufacturing and suppliers
- Calibration of inspection and workshop tools and equipment Laser Scanning
- Responsible for the filing of all inspection documentation, part traceability information and the recording of suppliers quality performance
- Provide first off inspection for in house manufacturing
- Adhere to all company quality accreditations
Ad hoc duties as specified by Quality Control Supervisor
Nationally recognised engineering qualification NDT trained to PCN level 2
Previous experience within a batch prototype-manufacturing environment, preferably in motorsport, aerospace or research and development as well as a good knowledge of Quality Assurance standards
You will need to be highly computer literate and competent in DPI and Ultra Sonics, hand tool inspection, laser etching, ultra sonic flaw detection, CMM CNC and manual CMM
