£30k - 35k per year + Travel Allowance
My client world leaders in the manufacture of safety and environmental emissions monitoring systems for the global marine industry.
Maintaining your existing ships and organising your newbuilds takes up much of your working day but on top of this it seems like you`re faced with a raft of new safety and environmental legislation that continues to add to your workload.
Main Responsibilities
-The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, commissioning, service and repair of company products.
-The role will involve working overseas with periods of time away from home (daily allowance).
-Attend sites to perform general surveys, installation, commissioning, and calibration on company products.
-Keep company informed of all customer enquiries to allow documentation to be kept to date
-Write accurate and comprehensive reports following all call outs
-Process customer returns and warranty issues, in accordance with company procedure
Key skills and experience
-Previous experience of working in Marine industry, on gas detection systems, emission monitoring systems or dewatering systems
-Strong decision maker, able to liaise with customers over technical issues.
-Must be able and willing to travel overseas at short notice
-Candidates should have worked with Gas detection systems.
-Candidates must have own driving licence
