Our client is a leading technical supplier to the automotive industry, and due to exceptional growth plans and current business requirements, they are looking to appoint a Mechnical Design Engineeras such we welcome applicant who meet the criteria below:
- Mechanical Design of components and systems
- Integration of these components and systems into vehicles, or other subsystems
- Technical liaison with customers, suppliers and manufacturing
- Preparation of BOM s and other project documents to fulfil project and process requirements
- Support the Team Leader, and other engineers with client quotations
- Completion of 3D CAD component models and assemblies (Catia)
- Completion of 2D detail drawings of components
- Support with physical build, evaluation, and validation
- Write effective and appropriate reports to document your work.
- Candidates with proven experience of concept design will be given preference
