Design to Cost Leader

The company currently supplies electronic systems to the aerospace industry for both civil and defence applications. Their major area of business at Cheltenham is avionics systems. There is scope for working on a variety of projects and products and the constantly changing approach to systems and procedures in house means that engineers have a real opportunity to help shape the organisation.
The Design to Cost Leader demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Bachelor`s degree from an accredited university or college, you will have at least 5 years experience working as an Engineering Program Leader involved in aircraft structures or systems. You will have at least 1 year experience working with a cross-functional team of sourcing / supply chain and operations.
