In order to realise the growth opportunity in the CIS / Russia and Europe, Africa and Middle East region, our client has an opening for a Territory Sales Manager to join the CIS / EAME Petroleum Sales and Marketing team based in Berkshire. The position will report to the Region Sales Manager.
As Territory Sales Manager you will be responsible for sales support of all Petroleum prime product, including gensets, engines, transmissions, packages and custom product to the drilling, gas compression, production and well service segments. You will also be responsible for selected dealers in Europe and Africa and for the achievement of the annual business plan, managing sales variance, driving new business, forecasting, demand management and identifying and cultivating petroleum customers and OEMs. You will focus on dealer engagement, dealer training, dealer sales support and regional marketing activities, gathering market and competitive data.
You must have a college or university degree or equivalent experience, thorough knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry, product applications and sales procedures. (However suitable company training will be provided for the successful applicant). Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to deal with sensitive issues and you must be able to influence customers and dealers. You will also need leadership skills in implementing strategies across matrix organizations. Previous experience in Territory Sales, Product Support Management, Customer Service, Marketing or Engineering is preferred. You must be willing travel as this position will involve frequent travel (around 50%) and interfacing with Customers and Dealers on a regular basis.
