Our client is a 30M turnover Midlands based group of engineering companies whose expertise lies within areas of Fine blanking, High Speed Precision Presswork and Stamping.
Maintenance Manager will plan, organise and control all maintenance activities to ensure that all mechanical plant and equipment is maintained to the highest standards. Knowledge of hydraulics and plc`s will be an advantage as will be the ability to manage maintenance craftsmen. Must have the ability to manage change within a continuous improvement culture.
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the repair and maintain Fine Blanking presses. Candidates should have a proven record of considerable experience and success in a similar position with a good overall background in mechanical engineering and presswork. The successful applicant will report direct to the Managing Director. Experience of the automotive industry would be highly advantageous. An understanding of hydraulics and electronics is essential.
