Verification and Validation Leader
Southampton, Hampshire, England

Our client designs and manufactures aerostructures for both the civil and military aerospace markets. They are currently seeking a Verification and Validation Leader to ensure compliance on all programme activities.
The Verification and Validation Leader will act as technical lead for Verification and Validation activities primarily focussed on the A350 XWB program. In this role you will ensure compliance on all program activities, playing a key role on the leadership team for the Aerostructures business.
Essential Responsibilities :
Leading functionally the development and execution of the VandV monitoring, surveillance and testing program,
Monitoring, analysing and reporting on Verification and Validation.Interpretation of Customer requirements
Flow down of requirements for interpretation by other engineers
Develop an overall Verification Plan (including Customer Verification requirements)
Ensure adherence to and execution of all Requirements
Identify non-compliance capturing any mitigation actions, incurred costs and liability.
Functional lead to Compliance staff
Allocation of verification requirements to those within the team
Supervise, and undertake design verification activities which may include Risk Analysis, Design Reviews, Calculation etc,.
Generation of Customer Compliance / Deviation statements
Implementing the strategy and plans for independent testing to validate compliance.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Degree qualified with a proven track record of Verification and Validation experience. Knowledge of Aircraft Certification and EASA regulations plus knowledge of mechanical design procedures. Will need experience of interface with customers .
