Gasoline Engine Calibration Engineer

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Calibration Engineer, seeking to further develop their expertise in Gasoline Engine technology, to join a world leading Powertrain Development Centre. The successful candidate will be working on a range of projects including a brand new engine family. This is a Midlands based opportunity offering an excellent salary and benefits package.

The work location is commutable from Coventry, Birmingham, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Peterborough.

The main elements of the job will include:
- Test bed engine calibration
- Conducting research into advanced engine technologies
- Creation and management of test programmes
- Development of testing and sign-off procedures

Candidate requirements
- Degree qualified (in Mechanical, Control, Electrical / Electronic Engineering or similar)
- A good record of achievement in the Automotive industry as a Calibration Engineer
- Gasoline calibration experience gained on test-bed
- Trained in Bosch EMS and tools
- Experience of Knock detection
