Job Overview:
Provide Industrial Engineering supporting TM minute and manpower improvement activities.
Carry out method study and develop effective methods and processes.
Using PMTS systems (MTM/UAS) develop basic minute values for processes
Support development of new processes and methods.
Provide manpower planning calculations and monthly manpower reports.
Main Responsibilities:
Application of method study techniques on existing manufacturing processes to determine productivity improvements.
To develop and install new processes and methods to achieve productivity improvements.
Working within a project team, support the development of new manufacturing processes for new product introduction.
Assembly line balancing to change existing and develop new work stations.
Using MTM/UAS develop time standards for processes
Develop and provide manpower and standard minute reports.
Qualifications:
Qualified to HNC and/or Degree level in engineering (NVQ Level 4 or equivalent).
MTM/UAS trained and IMS certificate.
Experience:
In-depth knowledge and application of industrial engineering techniques.
Experience in high volume manufacturing preferably within the automotive industry.
Project management skills.
High level of expertise in data collection and analysis as well as presentation skills.
Skills and Attributes:
Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
IT skills in Microsoft Office
Self motivated, capable of working alone or as part of a multi functional team
Flexible attitude
Leadership ability to deliver process changes into production
