My client a leading Manufacturing company based in Sheffield, who work across a diverse range of industries with contract sizes ranging from small refurbishments through to Multi-million pound contracts on turnkey packages.

Duties include providing a quality control system and continuous improvement for the business, ensuring conformance with quality standards and improving business efficiency and profitability



Job description
-Candidates should have previous experience of implementing, maintaining and improving quality, working to ISO9001:2008 ideally in Design, Manufacture and Site Installation activities for an Industrial OEM
-Responsible for the development of project specific Quality Inspection and Test Plans in line with customer expectations and criteria
-Manufacturing Record Books associated with Material Traceability and Inspection records
-Aspects of supply chain management along with Purchasing, Goods Inwards, Stores, Inspection Systems, NCR and corrective action systems.
-Works Manufacturing / Assembly / Job Scheduling / Planning / Inspection
-Heavily involved with external Supplier selection and Performance evaluation.
-Responsible for the Calibration of Equipment - measuring equipment / Welding Sets / Lifting Equipment


Key skills and experience
-Conversant with ISO9001 and quality systems auditing
-Candidates should be able to work from Manufacturing Drawings for Fabrications and industry standard tolerances
-Previous experience of Welding Standards and NDT testing. Welding to ASME and British Standards.
