Maintenance Engineer-TPM Based-Multi Skilled (Electrically Bias)-Automotive Company
West Midlands, England

This role forms part of the Assembly Maintenance Team and is primarily responsible for ensuring preventative maintenance on the assembly line to ensure production delivery. The firm we are working with is a very busy Tier 1 automotive supplier and the role is shift based. You’ll need to have experience of maintenance within a high volume environment, ideally in automotive (automated assembly processes) with PLC experience (Siemen’s S7).  This is a press shop environment so you must be happy working in this environment.

The position is bias towards TPM working with both reactive and planned maintenance updating their specialist software system as and when required.  You’ll be assisting in TPM training to other staff members and be encouraged to mentor more junior members of staff also.  It is also electrically bias so up to date regulation knowledge is essential (17th ed) with the split being approx. 70% electrical and 30% mechanical.

A degree is not a pre requisite for this role but you must be qualified to at least ONC level (Electrical bias ideally) or be a time served apprentice and experienced gained in both mechanical and electrical would be very helpful.  Working at height is preferred (scissor lift or cherry picker) and a valid FLT license is desirable, although by no means a pre requisite.

This is working in a very busy environment and this is set to continue for 2012 and into 2013; on offer is a permanent salary plus generous shift allowance. The role is based on a 3 shift pattern to include nights so you must feel comfortable with these hours.

Your CV will be forwarded to Jonathan Lee Recruitment, a leading engineering and manufacturing recruitment consultancy established in 1978. The services advertised by Jonathan Lee Recruitment are those of an Employment Agency.
