MECHANICAL ENGINEERING MAINTENANCE FITTER - ENGINEERING - DEFENCE/AEROSPACE - WORCESTERSHIRE

I'm looking for a mechanical engineering maintenance fitter to carry out maintenance and repair duties across all aspects and support its existing maintenance team for a Leading organisation that designs, develops and manufactures Solid Propellant Rocket Motors for use in tactile missiles and is commutable from Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Worcester and Coventry.

For the role of maintenance fitter you must have the following skills:

- Competent operator of Lathe and Milling machines to produce basic parts
- Knowledge of compressors, pumps, extraction systems, shot blasters, hydraulic systems and boiler plants.
- Capable of installing, maintaining and repairing including breakdowns of the mechanical engineering plant
- Hold a fork lift truck licence (desirable) and experience in slinging (desirable)
