Our client is looking to appoint a Senior Design Engineer on a permanent basis to provide Design capability to engineering activities/projects assigned to the Department.
You will be experienced with Pro-Engineer Wildfire 4 and have a background in mechanical design to create 3D models and 2D engineering drawings of components and assemblies.
If you also have the ability to:
- Design of components and systems to support on-going product development (NPPD) and maintenance (PM).
- Work closely with other business unit departments to understand and address production line, supply and field issues
- Support the management process in the creation of Engineering Bill of Materials
Applicants are required to have:
- HND / BSc / B Eng or equivalent
- Have a hands-on approach to engineering design and development
- Knowledge of creating and managing sub-structure Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Have a minimum of 2-years' experience working within this type of role or environment
- Good working understanding of FEA
