A Production Manager with good working knowledge of Lean tools and implementation is essential, along with managing an ERP system and a proven track record of working in the capacity of Production Manager. The Production Manager will manage a team of in excess of 40 people.
Educated to HNC/HND level or above.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of management in a manufacturing environment, and be driven to achieving results and be able to draw people together to work as a team. They need to be visionary, to see beyond the day to day in order to achieve the requirements of the strategic plan, whilst working on the principle that 'nothing is impossible'.

The candidate will need to be an assertive strong communicator, who can think on their feet, and bring direction when challenges to meeting our targets present themselves.
In essence, we are looking for someone who will both share and demonstrate the company's three values of being Passionate, Accountable and Prepared.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience

-Significant experience of manufacturing operations within an engineered products business.
-A proven understanding of Lean tools and techniques and their implementation to improve performance.
-Experience of managing ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
-Able to schedule a busy workload - Good Time Management
-Supervisory experience, managing a department through team/cell leaders.
-Manpower management and development skills and experience
-Able to analyse data for reports and understand figures
-A strong, clear communication style, excellent motivational techniques and a collaborative approach to delivering objectives.
-A good solid Manufacturing / Engineering background.
-Good working skills of MS Office
-Experience of Health and Safety legislation
