A Project Engineer – Building services is required to work within Engineering & Technical Services on contract for an OEM specialising in luxury and SUV/Off road vehicles.
The position will be based in the West Midlands.
Positions description:
As a Project Engineer your main tasks will be to take control and manager all types of refurbishment, maintenance, and Installation projects across two different site. Responsibility for resolving and development of work programmes along with dealing with all customer concerns / requests for assistance.
Experience required:
•Excellent organisational skill, Planning and time management skills, Understanding of budget control and the ability to work well in a team or on their own.
•As part of the role you must have excellent communication skills to liaise and report to the senior management team.
•Monitor project costs and/or adjustments, paying attention to the original margins set and advising management when deviations occur.
•Co-ordinate and maintain all engineering documents, and design change information.
•A Project Engineer should have the experience to manager all types of projects and sub-contractors.
•Need to be able to understand drawings and use 2D AutoCAD along all Microsoft programs.
•Knowledge of facilities planning and construction management process.
•Knowledge of construction materials and methods along with supervisory practices and principles.
