An Air Suspension Performance Engineer is required to work in Chassis Engineering developing Air Suspension, ARC (Automatic Ride Control) and Electronic Damping systems within a market leading design/manufacturer of high end luxury/SUV/off-road vehicles based in the West Midlands
This role is part of an exciting new expansion of the team to meet increasing demands with both current and future model launch
You will have knowledge and experience with,
- Automatic Ride Control (ARC), Air Suspension and/or electronic damping, or demonstrable understanding of similar systems
- Familiarity of instrumentation and objective testing of components and systems, together with an understanding of different measurement techniques.
- Both mechanical and electrical systems knowledge and their interaction
- Working within a team environment and working with component engineers and vehicle development engineers.
- Strong organisation and planning skills
Our Client needs objective investigations of the performance of Air Suspension, ARC and eDamping components and systems for Current and future vehicles ensuring interactions with the vehicle, (primarily, electrical, body and suspension inputs) are working as designed and modelled
Minimum of HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Applicants MUST have proof of immediate and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK.
