Marketing Manager - Pharmaceutical or Chemical Background - £Competitve

A Marketing Manager is required for a company working in the pharmaceutical and fine chemical sectors. The business will shortly be undergoing a significant rebranding of its marketing activities and requires a Marketing Manager to be based in the Cambridge office.

As the Marketing Manager you will be educated to degree level in chemistry, biochemistry or chemical engineering (or have equivalent experience). Some previous experience in a technical sales or marketing role focussing on market development, communications or publications is also required.

The successful applicant will be an innovative problem solver and organiser with excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills who is willing to challenge existing methodologies and execute new ideas.

Key aspects of the role include:
-Prepare marketing strategies and budgets to expand global demand.
-Work with product and sales managers to create marketing campaigns, branding and core messages which will increase market interest
-Conduct market research to identify new business developments, trends and competitor activity.
-Design and maintain a new market leading website.
