A Vehicle Electrical Technology Integration Engineer is required to work within Electrical Engineering on contract for our Client, an OEM specialising in luxury and SUV/Off road vehicles.

The position will be based in the West Midlands.

Positions description:
The position the candidate is applying for is to support new electrical technology integration into OEM vehicle-lines. The electrical technologies will support a range of new and exciting features that our client will be integrating into its vehicle lines over the coming years. Primary responsibility is to support the electrical system integration work required in order to ensure the new technology will seamlessly integrate into the vehicle electrical architecture and function according to the customer requirements whilst maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. The selected candidate will be responsible for Electrical integration of features/components into vehicle electrical architecture in accordance with OEM processes and standards (CAN, power supply, electrical circuit, software etc.)

Experience / education required:
-System engineering skills of electrical architectures.
-Familiar with tools such as MatLab/Simulink, CANalyser and other test tools.
-Applicants will have significant experience in an engineering environment following company delivery processes.
-Experience with new technology development in various automotive electrical domains. Electrical systems engineering experience and problem solving.
-Ideally, experience in electrical engineer integration role.
-Experience with vehicle test tools e.g. CANalyser, dSpace, Simulink.

Applicants MUST have proof of immediate and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK.
