Mechanical Maintenance Engineer-Automotive-Permanent Nights

This is a permanent nights based role for an experienced maintenance engineer who is mechanically bias and has worked in high volume automotive manufacturing, based in Solihull, you'll be maintaining plant equipment (mainly reactive maintenance with some working to PPM schedules) working to TS and 5S standards.

To be eligible for this role, you'll need to have the following:

- Proven experience in a mechanical maintenance role for an automotive or aerospace company (high volume manufacturing) with a bias towards reactive maintenance
- Background in working with many forms of hydraulic mechanical machinery (ideally including CNC's but not essential)
- Full driving licence
- NVQ level 3 or ONC educated

This role is to expand the existing and to provide much needed support on the nightshift, an immediate start working on the basis of 4 nights a week. The firm are established, global and fairly bespoke in the work they do, a very RandD based company who have provided specialist products into the mainstream automotive sector.

The hours of work are 2045-0630 Monday to Thursday, on offer is a good permanent salary, shift allowance and nightshift supplement plus benefits.
