Metallurgist -- Manufacturing -- Sheffield -- Salary circa £40k

£35k - 45k per year + package
Are you a metallurgist with a strong forgings background and experience of various metals including steel and nickel alloys? A leading manufacturing company based in Sheffield is looking for a metallurgist to join their production and quality teams.
Responsible for all metallurgical and technical matterswithin the company, you will focus on maximising efficiencies within the manufacturing process, preparing methods of manufacture and investigating and non-conformances.
Key requirements for the Metallurgist role include;
- Educated to degree level in metallurgy (or related discipline, material science)
- Forgings experience
- Working with various metals including steel and nickel alloys
- Manufacturing background ideal
- Experience with preparing and delivering technical reports
You should have a good history of health and safety and be comfortable promoting a health and safety friendly working environment, ideally within manufacturing.
