Main Duties
The main duties of the role will focus on the design and development of a range of Mechanical Handling systems and Heavy Engineering project. Job description
- Develop and present technical solutions to the customers and in house teams on new or current projects.
- Design and development of new Products in line with customer specifications and in line with company procedures
- Produce thorough and accurate design project documentation to gain approval of customer and Design manager
- Implement design changes to improve manufacturing efficiency
- Produce accurate project documents including manufacturing methods, bills of materials and stress analysis
- Working with internal departments along with external customers and suppliers to ensure design meets customers' expectations and I ensure efficient production processes
- Provide technical support to sales and marketing to obtain new business.


Key skills and experience

- Candidates should be educated to Degree level in a Mechanical Engineering discipline, or relevant industry experience..
