We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality professional to lead and manage our quality engineering and systems. You will develop and implement the strategy for Quality systems for the Group. As a key member of our Executive Team you will also help develop and set wider Company strategy and policy.

THE COMPANY:

We are specialists in complex high quality Castings. Our extensive facilities and experienced personnel provide the complete casting solution. We are a market leader in Prototype, Motorsport and low volume series Castings supported by our Engineering Tooling and Machining capabilities. This appointment, based in Shropshire, arises to support our continuing growth and further enhance our reputation for quality.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to our MD your responsibilities will include: manage and develop quality systems for the Group, manage and develop the quality department, customer liaison and management, integrate quality team into daily business operations, and help develop and set Company strategy and policy as part of the Executive Team.

Key success factors will involve: maintaining and developing Quality systems, reduction in cost of non-quality, identify and implement key business milestones to measure people performance against quality criteria, and customer satisfaction.

THE PERSON:

You will have comprehensive knowledge of 8D, FMEA, APQP, Control Plans and other quality tools and techniques, and good understanding of ISO 9001:2008 and TS16949. You will have a background in Automotive Manufacturing preferably but not necessarily involving Casting and Machining. Experience of operating at executive level would be desirable for this role.
