A world leading supplier of high performance transmissions now require a Parts Finisher to receive transmission parts from various departments, finish them by de-burring/cleaning and polishing to the company's quality standards, and deliver the finished components to the relevant department.
To assist with sub-assembly duties and deliver parts externally to the customer when necessary.

Responsibilities include:
Receiving various transmission parts from Inspection Dept and other Depts for Re-Work or finishing.
Receiving lists from Vantage Production Control of daily requirements and prioritising workload from these lists
Flexible working practices
Processing the parts - de-burring, polishing, cleaning, oiling
Delivering the finished parts to Stores for distribution to the customer
Assisting with sub-assembly when necessary
Sketching and making tooling for certain jobs where necessary
Delivery of parts in a company van, and other driving duties when necessary
To undertake day to day machine and equipment maintenance
To be part of the personal development process and attend reviews as required
To observe the Health and Safety rules at all times.
To follow the company quality procedures.
To carry out any reasonable additional duties as requested by management.

The Parts Finisher will have a mechanical engineering/garage background with basic PC skills and Knowledge of lathes/pillar drill/polishing-grinding machine etc.

Must have a flexible approach on jobs given and on hours - overtime/evening/ weekends if necessary.
Environment is noisy/dusty/exposure to aqueous based product for cleaning parts

Job can be mundane and high volume
