A great opportunity exists for a Vehicle Body Engineer to join this new Electric Vehicle manufacturer. Based in Coventry, it is commutable from Birmingham, Leicester, Warwick, Milton Keynes, Northampton.

Working within state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, this role will appeal to an experienced Engineer / Manager with strong technical knowledge of Body Engineering and possessing excellent Project Management and communication skills. The job holder will take the role of liaison between the Design team based at the nearby Technical Centre and Manufacturing colleagues on site at the factory. Supporting the current product and new launches, the job will cover all aspects of Body & Trim manufacture , working closely with Manufacturing and Quality team members, problem solving build issues and taking design lead of Body & Trim for new variants and derivatives.

Candidates will need to have a Degree or similar qualification, those with significant experience over formal qualifications are also encouraged to apply as are Engineers seeking the opportunity to make their first move into Management. Essential skills will include Project Management, Body Engineering, problem solving, attention to detail. Personal attributes; focus on continuous improvement, drive, can do attitude.
