Our client is a leading prestige automotive manufacturer, based in Oxford and they are currently seeking to recruit a CAD Coordinator for Building Services on a 6 month contract basis.

The individual will be responsible for the following:

* Navigate through systems (MS Desktop, Electronic Archive, Projectwise, ODS and "Hard copy" archives) to identify available information.
* Register available Drawings/layouts, OandMs etc. in current locations on the Index spreadsheet.
* Move available Drawings/layouts, OandMs etc. from MS desktop, Electronic archive and "Hard copy" format into correct locations in ODS and Projectwise (update Index spreadsheet accordingly).
* Update existing Drawings/layouts to reflect modifications/additions (update the Index spreadsheet accordingly).
* File new Drawings/Layouts, OandMs etc. into correct locations in ODS and Projectwise (update Index spreadsheet accordingly).
* Report to CAD and OandM Specialist on a daily basis for timekeeping/attendance/welfare, work prioritisation, target setting and performance management.
* Ensure applicable Legislation and Regulation requirements are adhered to in all activities.
* Recognise and follow internal processes.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

* Recognised engineering apprenticeship, HNC or equivalent, or ability to demonstrate good knowledge and experience.
*- Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings/Layouts, OandMs etc.
* Knowledge and experience in PC systems (Microsoft packages).
* Knowledge and experience in DGN (Microstation).
* Knowledge and experience in DWG (AutoCad).
*- Experience and ability to prioritise and manage own time.
* Self motivated and autonomous.

**Although this position is primarily based in Oxford, there may be occasions where travel to other sites within the UK and Ireland are required**
