Launch and PVT Engineer

The position is to provide a PVT focus for liaising between the new Pune plant KD operation as well as between PVT and EUCD. The position will also require the investigation and resolution of engineering problems in support of PVT activities. Liaison with Pune to assist with the introduction of Model Year changes in to the kits and with future potential KD/Offsite production facilities will be required.

Skills Required:
The applicant must have an engineering background to enable design, quality and production issues to be discussed and understood between Pune plant representatives and Halewood PVT Members. Good communication and people skills are essential to ensure that all relevant people understand and are engaged in the issues raised from Pune plant and that relevant actions from PVT are communicated to Pune plant. Similar communication will be required between PVT and EUCD. Knowledge of AIMS, WERS and Excel / PowerPoint are required.

Experience Required:
Experience in both Product Development and a Manufacturing environment is required.

Education Required:
Degree level preferred but HND considered with relevant experience.

Additional Information:
No regular travel is anticipated to either Puna or Gothenberg as issues are expected to be progressed via audio meetings and email. There may be occasional travel to the West Midlands or to suppliers.
