    The World`s largest supplier of essential components and systems for automobiles, including air conditioners, fuel injection systems, alternators, meters and filters among others is looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer specifying in Aircon Engineering.
    The Role:
    Application and development of HVAC control systems for customer projects to include electrical components, software development tools and some hand on vehicle and bench test and simulation.
    Capture and rationalise customer requirements for new and existing projects, and design or support design of specifications to meet customer and project requirements.
    Coordination of projects to ensure timely deliveries and problem resolution.
    Problem solving of implementation or integration issues.
    Liaison with customers, internal DENSO design (Japan) and manufacturing centres (Spain and UK) and suppliers.
    Support development of HVAC and vehicle system with customer and other DENSO teams.
    Autonomy to manage day to day workload and make project planning decisions. Authority to proceed with detail design based on concurrence from customer, supplier etc.
    Personal Requirements:
    The ability to regularly travel to customer sites (company car supplied), and occasional overseas travel Flexibility for short business trips in Europe plus possibility of trip/s to Japan and to support overseas vehicle testing trips if support is needed.
    Degree or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, or Automotive Engineering or similar subject, desirably working towards CEng or IEng.
    Fluent Microsoft Office skills, with an understanding of MATLAB and SIMULINK software, and experience of electronic circuit hardware (transistors, ICs, PCB design etc).
    Six months minimum work experience in engineering, either via a sandwich placement or post graduate experience.
    A clear thinker and good communicator, with the ability to work in a team and also to use your own initiative.

    Senior Engineer - Programme Manager Assistant

    Our client is one of the world`s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. Established for more than 60 years its product line-up has, more recently, moved into the design and manufacture of passenger cars, including electric vehicles.

    A new 6 month contract opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager Assistant to support the Programme Manager with daily tasks in delivering a specific project successfully.

    Duties to include, but not limited to:

    - Manage eFDVS requirement on the programme.
    - Manage programme timing, creating updated plans, containment plans and actions.
    - Interface with suppliers on supplier timing and eFDVS requirements ensuring acceptable delivery status.
    - Monitoring project resources and costs, gateway delivery and controlling and producing meeting minutes with the project team and client environment.

    Role Requirements:

    - Candidate must have their own transport to support meetings locally (travel will predominantly be within a 30 mile radius of the site)
    - Flexibility to work additional hours as required to support the project will also be required.
    - Experience of Microsoft Office and Project are essential
    - Recently Degree qualified or similar qualification
    - Strong numeracy and literacy
    - Strong work ethic
    - Good logical reasoning
    - Effective team member contributing to improvements and high customer service.
    - Demonstrates depth of knowledge in a relevant technical specialty.
    - Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered status
