Job based in Warwickshire
The STA function is responsible for the capacity and quality performance of all new product and current vehicle suppliers and performs an important role within the Purchasing Department.
The STA function is responsible for planning, monitoring and controlling supplier manufacturing processes and activities to enable high quality and on time execution of product programmes effectively and efficiently whilst maintaining and improving current car performance.
Skills, experience and qualifications required:
Qualified to degree level within an engineering or business discipline
Experienced within a Vehicle Engineering/Quality function and familiar with the Global Product Development System
Knowledge and experience of APQP/PPAP/8D
Able to facilitate resolution of complex cross-functional issues
Good leadership/negotiation/communication and interpersonal skills
Able to operate effectively at all levels of the organisation
Self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative
Computer literate
