Principal Engineer - Interior Trim Launch

Our client is one of the world`s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. Established for more than 60 years its product line-up has, more recently, moved into the design and manufacture of passenger cars, including electric vehicles.
- Launch engineering support for interior trim on P786.
- Attend support and feedback startup/washup reviews at customer build facilities.
- 1st point of contact for all interior trim problems on P786.
- Development of containment solutions and method of supply for interior trim problems.
- Management of interior trim issue closure and introduction into customer.
- Degree qualified or similar qualification.
- Strong numeracy and literacy.
- A minimum of 5 years automotive experience is essential.
- Good logical reasoning.
- Capable of leading a project element with support from more senior staff when necessary.
Effective team member contributing to improvements and high customer service.
- Demonstrate depth of knowledge in a relevant technical speciality.
- Some will already be chartered or working towards chartered status.
Main job location: Browns Lane and Castle Bromwich.
37 hours per week.
